Alehm has published a list of London Boroughs offering practical training opportunities.

This scheme is increasing the number of qualified food enforcement officers within London and maintains high professional standards of food safety enforcement in London by enabling a local authority to take on a trainee to undertake the Higher Certificate of Food Safety at Middlesex University.

Alehm are working with PATH National UK Ltd - a skills development agency that works with employers to address the under representation of black and minority ethnic people at middle and senior management. Alehm's scheme, which was launched in September 2006, works in partnership with employers to provide traineeships programmes that are tailored to the needs of both the trainee and the employer.
