Alehm launched the London scores on the doors scheme on the Your London website on 8 October 2007. The six tier scheme has proven successful with the public and is supported by enforcement officers. In 2008, Alehm opened the scheme to any local authority outside of London that wishes to join the scheme. As of mid-2009, over 100 local authorities are using the London scheme.
Alehm, in partnership with the CIEH, is close to completing the project to assist boroughs to transfer from the London Scores on the Doors scheme to the FSA National Food Hygiene Rating Scheme in time for the Games in July 2012.
