London Shisha project
A partnership of London organisations, including Alehm to tackle issues arising in connection with shisha following the prohibition of smoking in enclosed public places.
Partners
The London Shisha project involves collaboration between:
- Alehm;
- London local authorities;
- CIEH London region; and,
- SmokeFree London Forum.
Objectives
Funded by the Department of Health, HealthWorks in London have been commissioned during 2009 to:
- produce guidance for enforcement officers;
- owners of shisha bars;
- users of shisha; and,
- conclude with a national conference to disseminate experience and findings of the project to a wider audience.
