An interesting meeting with a management focus. The speakers included Tim Everett who talked about his experience of developing shared services and David Thrale covering how ''System Thinking'' can be applied to dramatically improve service effectiveness. Their presentations were thought provoking and encouraged debate. Rob Halford also attended to update members on the current developments of the EHMS system. Gwyneth Rogers, Lacors, attended and discussed the EH services Directive and the duties it placed on Local Authorities.
