Alehm meeting

The meeting had an Environmental health management theme, and looked at the implementation of hot desking and the sharing of environmental health services between 2 councils. The members heard about a new scheme to control the standards of temporary accommodation to assist local authorities who need to find emergency placements find suitable accommodation, and there was a review of the student consortium and how this can be adpated to suit the needs of London authorities in the current financially restricted times.

There were updates from speciailist groups on the health and safety, a proposed noise code of practice for construction sites and the range of future changes in  food  legislation and service delivery.
