Alehm's policy is that comments on our website must be attributed. Unfortunately, an incorrect setting on our website has resulted in two comments being accepted from an anonymous poster - sorry. We have therefore not published these postings and have accordingly changed our website settings.

If the poster contacts us to identify themselves (name and email address) we will: gladly publish their original comments; grant them rights so they can post further responses, and Alehm will then publish the response that the poster seeks.

By taking this decision ALEHM have denied consumers the very thing they claim to support namely a national scheme. Furthermore they have denied Londoners the benefits that would have arisen from compulsory posting of SoTD which was due to be made available through the London Local Authority Act. The House of Lords when they considered this act allowed compulsory posting ONLY if London followed the terms and conditions of a national scheme set out by the FSA.Since ALEHM are refusing to take part in the national scheme they have removed the possibility of compulsory posting that they themselves have claimed was vital for success. The decision is anti business and not in the interest of consumers. Exactly what remit right or authority does this small group of professionals have for taking a decision that should be a matter for elected representatives?
