Children’s Environment and Health Strategy for the United Kingdom

Today the Health Protection Agency has launched a three month consultation on A Children’s Environment and Health Strategy for the United Kingdom. The Strategy provides an overview of the current impact of the environment on children’s health in the UK and highlights areas where this could be improved. The consultation provides you with an opportunity to give your views on the priority areas identified and invites your suggestions on areas which you consider should be included. The consultation runs until Friday 13 June 2008.

Attached is a copy of a letter from Professor Pat Troop inviting you to provide feedback on the Strategy and a copy of the Strategy itself. Paper copies of the Children’s Environment and Health Strategy and supporting documentation are available from the HPA.
