Enfield CPD Event

Each year Enfield Environmental Health hold a popular, low cost, fortnight of training, which is eligible for continuing professional development.

It covers a variety of issues and attendance is possible by event or as a block booking.

Dates: 16-20 November 2009 & 7-11 December 2009.

Science and Technical Advice Cell training for London environmental health managers

In July, Alehm agreed new arrangements with the London Fire Brigade to better support the Science and Technical Advice Cells (STAC) that are activated during major incidents.

New public health post for London

Steve Miller: "Clear & obvious benefits"Steve Miller: "Clear & obvious benefits"An innovative job to improve notifications of communicable gastrointestinal diseases in London has been created by the Association of London Environmental Health Managers and Chartered Institute of Environmental Health London.

The part-time post will be jointly funded by the London boroughs and the Health Protection Agency (HPA) and will be based at the CIEH in London and at the South-West London Health Protection Unit in Tooting.
